The women of MVBC come from diverse backgrounds and a wide variety of experiences that have brought us together to serve Christ. We seek to love one another and learn together to follow Jesus.
Our desire is that every woman would not only find a place to belong, but also an opportunity to serve within the body and the community. MVBC Women’s Ministries provides occasions to live out our values of loving, learning, praying, serving and reaching through Bible studies, service projects, mentoring, outreach projects and a chance to develop relationships. A sister in Christ is a sister for life.
Together, we want to embody all that Christ has for us:
LOVING with an Open Heart
Mark 12:29 - 31 Jesus answered, "The most important is, 'Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God, the Lord is one. 30 And you shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength.' 31 The second is this: 'You shall love your neighbor as yourself.' There is no other commandment greater than these."
LEARNING to be Renewed in His Image
Romans 12:2 "Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect."
PRAYING through Our Day
Ephesians 6:18 "praying at all times in the Spirit, with all prayer and supplication. To that end keep alert with all perseverance, making supplication for all the saints"
SERVING with Willing Hands
1 Peter 4:10-11 "As each has received a gift, use it to serve one another, as good stewards of God's varied grace: 11 whoever speaks, as one who speaks oracles of God; whoever serves, as one who serves by the strength that God supplies--in order that in everything God may be glorified through Jesus Christ. To him belong glory and dominion forever and ever. Amen."
REACHING out to Spread Christ’s Love
Matthew 28: 19-20 "Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age."
